Week 10/52

Hello Friends,
Here is my second in the series of Week by Week.  I am borrowing a format from an artist to use here.  Blue Bird Baby is a fantastic blog. Simple. Lovely. Soulful. Inspiring. She uses a weekly format to document. I like this method of tracking the days and the process. I have modified her approach a bit.  Every week you document and you note by the week.  She documents her darling daughter’s life in a really lovely way.  Go check it out.

This week I am:

Another chapter in my novel. Well, a couple chapters, but they all read like crap…

Mendocino and Other Stories by Ann Packer

Mendocino and Other Stories

This is such a lovely two minutes. Well worth it.

Skinny Love by Bon Iver

About an upcoming road trip to Portland, Oregon. I used to live there and I love it. Good coffee, great microbreweries, family, friends, and some sultry rain. I know. When is rain ever sultry? It is!

Rain, glorious rain.

Rain, glorious rain.

My snap peas to grow a bit more vigorously. They are really pathetic.

A vacation with my honey to some lovely place like this.

This gorgeous Ella Moss swimsuit. It is no longer available, from what I can see, but man oh man, do I ever want it! It says summer in so many ways and of course it says other things too. “Hey there, want to wear me? You better start walking and cutting out the pasta baby…”

A smile because I am participating in the 40 Bags in 40 Days Challenge. Well worth it! Time to seriously declutter.

Lots of yummy asparagus. In particular, prepared like this. From Tasty Kitchen.

Okay, true confessions. I am dreaming of drinking this!

White Russian!

But I am drinking this instead. You know, trying to stay healthy. Wait a minute? Stay? No, get healthy.

I hope your week is good. I wish for you a week of sunshine, rain, and love.
